On the morning of February 23, 2026, a male person died inside the facilities of Ciudad Universitaria, reported the General Directorate of Analysis, Protection, and University Security of UNAM (DGAPSU). According to the communiqué, at 06:15 hours, the University's monitoring center identified a man riding a bicycle on the return lane of the Circuit of Scientific Research. The person could not be identified at the scene.
